Our fully functional control room has the capability to cablecast original programming LIVE or to videotape. The key components of the control console include the following:

  • The JVC KM-1200 SEG control panel allows us to switch between three Sony DXC-3000A studio cameras and a TBC stabilized VCR. This console is also interconnected with our non-linear digital editing system.

  • Graphics are produced by a Compix Video CG card installed in a rack mounted 400 MHz PII PC.

  • An Altec/Lansing 1684A auto mixes up to 8 microphone sources from the studio.

  • A twelve input Mackie mixer combines the microphone inputs with audio from a CD, a cassette, the playback VCR, a computer sound card, and a tone generator.

  • A Leader waveform monitor and vectorscope let us monitor the video quality.

  • A 100W audio PA is used to monitor the audio quality.
